Last Sunday, thousands of members of the Ansar force surrounded and stormed the Bangladesh Secretariat, eventually taking control. As a result, seven advisors and many secretaries, along with high-ranking officials, were trapped inside. Despite the government's assurances to meet the demands of the Ansar personnel, they refused to relinquish control of the Secretariat. Consequently, rumors spread at night that the Ansar force had rebelled, similar to the Pilkhana mutiny. Later, thousands of students from Dhaka University marched to the Secretariat and freed it.
It was later revealed that during the day-long Ansar mutiny, some senior government officials at the secretary level maintained contact with the mutineers, considering the incident a counter-revolution and inciting them to rebellion. Initially, the names of 17 such secretaries have come to light, who in various ways encouraged and monitored the Ansar personnel.
A review of their phone records and conversations would reveal clear evidence of their involvement. The list of these 17 officials is as follows:

8. Sabur Mondol - Chairman, Land Reforms Board
9. Khalilur Rahman - Secretary, Ministry of Land
10. Nabirul Islam - Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Public Works
11. Shahanara Khatun - Secretary, Rural Development Division
12. Abdul Hamid Jamaddar - Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs
13. Abdur Rahman Khan - Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR)
14. Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury - Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration
15. Shafiul Azim - Secretary, Election Commission
16. Nazmul Ahsan - Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources
17. Humayun Kabir Khondker - Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
These officials should be promptly relieved of their duties.
